Our Story

Sunbury United Cricket Club has been a cornerstone of cricket excellence in the Gisborne District since 1973, when we were founded as Sunbury Centrals. Over five decades, we've grown into one of the region's most respected and successful cricket organizations.

In 1982, we rebranded to Sunbury United Cricket Club, reflecting our unified vision for the sport and our community. Today, with our iconic bee/wasp mascot and striking gold and black colors, we represent excellence, unity, and passion for cricket at every level.
